Why Homework Haven?
As a former classroom teacher, I recognized a significant gap in traditional after-school programs: the lack of organized, focused homework support. Many programs house large numbers of children, making individualized academic assistance nearly impossible. Homework Haven at Holliston was created to fill this critical need, offering dedicated, small-group instruction and a safe, nurturing environment where academic learning can thrive during after-school hours.

Fun Friday
"Fun Friday" features a child-based fun activity chosen by children at the beginning of each week. Our inside activities include options for playing in "Construction Corner," "Transportation Terrace," "Science Street," "Literacy Lane," "Math Motorway," "Drama Drive," or "Artistic Alley."
Outdoor activities include a variety of sports options, sand play in an 8 X 12 sandbox, swings, climber and other activities.
Building Strong Muscles
Whether it's climbing or running, there are outdoor activities for all. The climbing structure allows children to use a ladder or rock wall to climb. The playground has 9" of playground mulch as required by EEC. An 8' x 12' sandbox has all types of sand toys, construction vehicles, and even an outdoor kitchen area to expand child imagination. Many sports activities are available for young athletes. The program sports a large, fenced-in yard situated in a quiet neighborhood. Outdoor play is a daily event temperature permitting. With a covered patio and carport area, we will always be able to enjoy fresh air even if it's raining.
