Cooperative Play
At Haven Hill PreK, children will experience a wide variety of activities designed to spark their curiosity and encourage development. Our program incorporates play-based learning, using play as the primary context for acquiring new skills. Activities are fun but designed with specific learning goals, fostering purposeful play. We also include guided play, which is self-directed by children but supported by an educator, and free play, allowing unstructured and voluntary activities. We encourage inquiry-based learning, where children ask questions, explore, and find solutions, and experiential learning, where they learn through doing and reflecting on activities.
